This course aims to design the structural elements “Slabs and footing” by using the SAFE program because it's more accurate than the ETABS for these elements.
· How to prepare SAFE program for analysis and design process.
· Definition of long-term deflection combinations in SAFE program and how to check it.
· Design slabs and beams and verify all design requirements.
· Define soil properties and draw all types of footings.
· Check soil stresses, one way shear and punching shear.
· Design and analysis of various types of concrete foundations.
